Civil Engineering deals with the analysis, design and construction of buildings, roads, railways, bridges, dams, canals, hydraulic structures, sanitary and water supply systems, etc. To cope up with the fast developing construction industry, highly complex problems are to be solved by modern techniques. Students are trained in planning surveys using state of the art equipments and methods like Total station, Computer Aided Design and drafting. Hands on training in well equipped laboratories combined with management techniques equip the students according to the needs of construction industry in our country as well as abroad. |
The Department has well qualified and experienced faculty. Some of them have experience in construction field as well.
