The Central Library caters to the informational needs of the faculty, students and other staff of the institute. It is housed in a 1500 Sq. m. three storied building in the main campus. More than 30,000 books and around 3500 CD ROMS covering all disciplines of engineering, science and technology, humanities and general books is an asset to the Institution. The central Library currently subscribes around 60 scholarly international journals, 80 national journals and 40 technical magazines in print form and IEL Online Journals. Digital resources on many subjects are made accessible through a Digital Library Centre. The reference section of the library is fully air conditioned and provide peaceful environment for learning. Library has a sufficiently large reading hall which can accommodate 300 students at a time. The central library is fully automated and is supported by various services like CD- ROM database search, OPAC and Web OPAC.

The library currently subscribes to nearly 50 journals. It has a separate collection of prescribed textbooks for the exclusive use of students. All the library activitites are computerized. the library also provides reprographic facilities like photocopying and DTP. The library is open from 8 am to 8 pm.
